It all started about 10 years ago, when I discovered Magic: the gathering tournament in my town that was organized every friday and sunday.
Was the youngest kid there (by far, 11 years old among adults and adolescents mostly) but I didnt mind.
After a few years the scene died, and so did my gaming habits (tried some warhammer but never really liked the idea of mending and paiting for 340hours before you can actually play the game).
When I got into university, the spark came back, with some of my friends playing risk and twilight imperium (dont ask, I really dont know how they managed to combine the two - these are still basically the only two games they play).
Too bad both games didnt interest me that much, as I found risk too dicey and twilight too long. So I started to look around and figured i'm into wargaming (not that suprising if you know that I started playing allied general on a pc when I was 8
), only problem I have with it is that it's fairly hard to get a gaming buddy, and I'm not into vassal much (if i wanted to play game on a computer, I would have never stopped playing pc games - but thats another story of passion and regret
Love depth and complexity in games, light games are ok if its that kind of a setting and the game doesnt last too long, but I like engaging and gripping games most, so no wonder my favorite mountain is Sierra Madre
