It all started about 10 years ago, when I discovered Magic: the gathering tournament in my town that was organized every friday and sunday.
Was the youngest kid there (by far, 11 years old among adults and adolescents mostly) but I didnt mind.
After a few years the scene died, and so did my gaming habits (tried some warhammer but never really liked the idea of mending and paiting for 340hours before you can actually play the game).
When I got into university, the spark came back, with some of my friends playing risk and twilight imperium.
Too bad both games didnt interest me that much, as i found risk too dicey and twilight too long. So I started to look around and figured i'm into wargaming (the first game i aquired being Ambush! - i really didnt know what was it all about, i just saw it on ebay and that it was cheap), only problem I have with it is that it's fairly hard to get a gaming buddy, and im not into vassal much (if i wanted to play game on a computer, I would have never stoped playing pc games - but thats another story of passion and regret
I also love to socialize with not-that-much-into-gaming friends and try to get them on the dark side with something lighter like k2 or dungeon petz.
It didnt take long to figure euros mostly give me chills.
