I love games, especially wargames. I began my journey into this crazy hobby back in 1988, while visiting a game/hobby store. I was an avid teenage history buff with my nose buried in any book I could find about the American Civil War, WWII, etc. I discovered one day while browsing in a store that they actually made games depicting historical military history! I bought 3 games: Midway by Avalon Hill, Gettysburg (125th Anniversary) by Avalon Hill, and Mosby's Raiders by Victory Games. I did not have anyone to play these games with. I opened them, tried to make sense of them all, and then put them on my shelf.
20 years later I came across a website that featured old SPI hex and counter wargames designed for online play. I joined the site and immediately caught the bug. Now it's 4 years later and I am completely engrossed in the hobby. I'm like a kid in a candy store. I'll pretty much play anything. Lately I've getting into heavy euros and an LCG, Game of Thrones. Soooo much to play and not enough time.
