I've been a professional video and computer game developer since 1991. I started as a QA tester at Lucasarts, then became a mission designer on X-Wing

(fast action small boat combat for the Xbox that was a Platinum Series hit). I was a contributing designer on The Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay

(another Platinum Series hit.)
My last commercial title was Death Jr. 2: Root of Evil
, an action/platformer game for the PSP on which I was the audio lead and co-lead game designer. It is now available on the Wii.
I was a senior game designer at Destineer Studios (now Atomic Games) where I worked on a training simulation for the Intelligence Community and consulted on Six Days in Fallujah
Since 2008 I have been teaching teaching game design, first at the University of Advancing Technology in Tempe, AZ, then at UC Santa Cruz and Cogswell Polytechnical College.
I am currently teaching at NHTV Breda University of Applied Sciences and am the lead designer of Starfighter Inc by Impeller Studios.
