Can I drive the bus?
I've been playing boardgames all of my life, but got into European games over twenty years ago ("Modern Art" and the first edition of "Die Macher" caught my attention). Although I have tended to gravitate towards Euro style games, I'm not picky and enjoy some decidedly "Ameritrash" games as well (Descent, for example, is a favorite). Every month or so, I get together with my gaming group to play more in-depth games, but overall these days I tend to play shorter, more accessible games with my wife and kids. I also like computer gaming (Dragon Age: Origins, XCOM: Enemy Unknown, and Crusader Kings II are recent favorites) and even dabble a little in roleplaying with the kids (Mouse Guard!!!). I always have an iOS game on the go with someone. We live in glorious times where there are lots of ways to indulge this great hobby.
