I discovered BGG in the spring of 2008, while looking for strategy advice so that I could finally win a game of Settlers of Catan, and came away with knowledge of a whole world of gaming of which I had been completely unaware. Soon, I was introducing friends to Power Grid and Agricola, but then slowly forgot about the site.
Three years later, in 2011, I had gained an interest in Role-Playing Games, as I found friends who played Dungeons & Dragons, World of Darkness, and Exalted. I came across RPGGeek and discovered tons of other games, game ideas, and GMing advice, and decided to join.
Lately, I haven't had much time to play games, but when I do, I tend to GM RPGs for friends (usually with my go-to game, Call of Cthulhu). I enjoy some narrativist games, as well as some simulationist games, but in the end, I mostly enjoy telling stories and making sure that everybody has fun.
