Born 1964, Married, 2 little girls 2003 and 2005. I am an ex-computer programmer (degree), ex-architect (degree and 10 years exp), ex-computer game designer (7 years exp) and now a full time stay at home dad (3 years).
Been into playing games since I was about 3, my parents said I started playing poker about that time. Most of my youth was spent playing cards and traditional board games. At the age of ten I was introduced to D&D. For the next 15 years or so my gaming time revolved around
AD&D, Squad Leader, Car Wars, Star Fleet Battles, Risk, and
Uno, along with numerous other games. After college not much time for gaming other than weekly card games. Most of my time was now moving toward more computer gaming.
In 1997 I became a full time computer game designer in Dallas. Now my free time moved back from the computer to board gaming. I started playing
Robo Rally, Formula De, Magic the Gathering, along with some others.
In 2000 got married and my gaming time got serious cut back. Slowly I have gotten my wife into playing games. Recently this has moved toward more Euro style gaming, which has been great.
Most of the time we like to play casual two player games after the children get to bed. Hopefully as the children get older we can get them to start playing some games.
