(May 2014) I'm in the process of doing art for an upcoming game, and a map for a book being published in Sweden. I'm on BGG regularly except weekends, so feel free to message me if you have art inquiries.
I have been gaming since I was about 12 years old, when I ran into 1st edition D&D. I kept up with D&D for years, and gradually branched out into board and card games.
Along with that I've always had a keen interest in learning, knowledge, and how to systematise information. The mainstreaming of games as a way to help students understand system-level information has been great fun to watch.
I put these two interests together, and now work for a large midwestern US university, helping faculty to create games for use in university level courses.
My favourite games continue to be well-crafted medieval role-playing games. However, I also thoroughly enjoy well-themed strategic card and board games like Thunderstone, Lords of Waterdeep, Yggdrasil and the like.
