If you're looking for Euro-gaming in the North Jersey area, check out my gaming group...

http://games.groups.yahoo.com/group/ludonj/

Some more detail about me:

I'm a wannabe game designer and Euro fan living la vida soñoliento in Northern New Jersey.

I used to be very into video games, and I wanted to design them myself. I decided to learn game mechanics through board games. I used to play Illuminati and Car Wars as a kid, so I fell back into gaming through "take-that" games and the New Jersey con scene (Ubercon, Dexcon, and the dearly departed Gazebo of Games).

I started a game group at my house, and played lots of "take that" and American-style games (hence their presence in my reviews and contributions). Eventually I started skewing towards Euros, and that's where my sweet spot is now. In retrospect, it's a miracle I didn't swear off gaming after my first experience with Munchkin.

As for designing... I have some nibbles from publishers, but nothing definite yet.

I don't even think about designing computer games anymore.
