I live on Oklahoma City and work as a software developer. I was primarily a videogamer in my younger years, though I did play some board games. My parents used to play AD&D when I was younger (I currently have all of their books) which fueled my interest in RPGs. However, it wasn't until college that I managed to get a group together and start playing. This is also when I met my wonderful wife. She was a big fan of the Dragonlance novels, so I convinced her to play D&D by telling her it's Dragonlance in game form.
Now, I didn't really get into board games until college. Not really knowing much about Boardgames, I picked up StarCraft: The Board Game
. Unfortunately, this isn't much of a gateway game, and it scared off several of my friends from boardgaming. However, it did get a small group of us hooked, and I've been playing board games ever since. I began searching for reviews of different boardgames, and that's how I stumbled upon here.
I'm always up for trying new games and meeting new people, so feel free to pm me and talk
