Check out my first published board game: In the Name of Odin!
I have a Patreon campaign that's on hiatus, but please feel free to check out the videos made for it to date.

And can I interest you in some microbadges?

I'm an almost life-long gamer originating from Kraków, Poland. I spent nearly three years living and studying in the UK, but I moved back to Poland to work in a video game company. I'm enjoying a healthy mix of videogaming, boardgaming and game design, with the only bit missing being role-playing games (unfortunately!).

Some history for those who care to read it:
- I've been interested in all sorts of fantasy and sci-fi stuff from an early age, starting with anime and cartoons, and then getting into books: most importantly C.S. Lewis' "Chronicles of Narnia" and J.R.R. Tolkien's "The Hobbit", and then "The Lord of the Rings" and "The Silmarillion".
- I've been a fan of board games for quite a long time now. In primary school I used to buy everything published by Sfera, a company known for the Polish edition of "Talisman" and it's rip-off, "Magiczny Miecz". I used to own all the expansions for that game. Unfortunately, they have been lost when I moved home some 14 years ago. I designed my first two board games in that period, both sf-themed.
- Right before moving, I got into RPG's and because all of my old friends were gone (along with "Magiczny Miecz", as mentioned above) I didn't have much contact with board games. My new hobby and computer games took the bulk of my time, and then I got into "Magic: The Gathering", and a while later I had a short episode of playing "The Lord of the Rings" CCG. I stopped playing actively in High School.
- In 2004 I started to write articles for "Bestiariusz RPG", a Polish website I worked with until 2009. More RPG's came along, my collection grew bigger, but unfortunately with High School, the number of games started to get smaller and smaller.
- Then, in 2005 I believe, I got two games for my birthday: "Cave Troll" and "Lord of the Rings: The Confrontation". I found out about a webstore called Rebel.pl and after browsing through their games, decided to buy "Warcraft: The Board Game". And thus the buying frenzy begun...

Now, some years later, I'm here and enjoying it with my ever-growing collection of games. I don't let it become too big though, as I don't have a stable group of people to play with and I have a strict way of deciding if I should buy a certain title or not. I prefer games with strong themes, and not totally random mechanics, although I can let that slide from time to time.

I am a novice game designer. My first game called "Mykeria" has been in publishing hell for three years now, unfortunately. I'm currently working on some different projects as well, so chances are that I will be able to publish at least a part of them, sooner or later. I was, however, hired as a Junior Designer (Level and Game, then switched almost fully to Game Design) at a Polish video game company - Artifex Mundi, who specialise in Hidden Object Puzzle Adventure games. I have since left the company, but the two and a half years there have gave me much experience and know-how. Right now I'm working for another company while pursuing some smaller private projects.

With the introduction of RPG Geek my focus shifted a bit and I was more active on the GeekDo forums than BGG itself. I love discussing the theory and practise of GM'ing and playing, and though I did do that with a lot of topics, it's always great to hear a different opinion. Now, with VideoGameGeek, my interest is shifted once more, and this is where I spend most of my time. It feels great to have a single website which caters to nearly all your Geek needs.

I was successful in reviving my board gaming habits, and so each month I invite my friends over to my house and we have a several hours long session of playing games. It feels good. With this set right, my last problem is that I don't play Role-Playing Games enough at the moment

My other interests include music (I have a quite broad music taste, incorporating Heavy and Power Metal, celtic and nordic music, instrumental, ambient and even bits and pieces of electronica and hip-hop), history (I dabbled in pre-christian slavic, XI-XII century Viking and Norman re-enactment) and literature (mostly history, sci-fi and fantasy).

My Hot 10 are games that I haven't played yet, but I want to try them out.

See you in the forums!
