I am currently 56 years old, and I've been playing games for as long as I can remember. Any type of game will do: board games, card games, roleplaying games. I got into wargames in college, with a general interest at first that eventually became a deep passion for the American Civil War. Since 1981, I've been the DM for a Dungeons & Dragons campaign that meets on Sunday nights; we've played through three (and a half) editions of the game, not yet having made the move to fourth.
Personal info: I am married to a wonderful woman who shares so many of my interests. She's my partner in gaming as she is in all things in my life, although wargames don't interest her so I need to look elsewhere to get my fix. Our household includes no children, but does include a 16-year-old cat and a Beagle.
Alas, Rhythm the cat has passed on at the age of 17.
May 16, 2011: R.I.P Andy ... we said goodbye to our beloved Beagle.
May 27, 2012: Another Beagle has joined our family. Welcome, Sherlock!
