Sigh...too many games and too little time with work, family, and school.
Land-locked San Diego surfer. I accepted a position in Dallas in 1998 but still visit California regularly. I have played wargames and sci-fi/fantasy games off-and-on since I was a kid and I enjoy eurogames as well. My lovely wife will occasionally humor me and play a light euro or light ameritrash game but she'd rather "cuddle." Fortunatley, I have met a great group of gamers here in Dallas which is something I never had in California. (The avatar is me and my youngest daughter waiting for the Shamu show to start at Sea World on March 2008).
A few other tidbits about me:
- Father of two beautiful daughters
- Born in Seattle, WA; raised in San Jose, CA
- Department director for an organ donation agency
- Former U.S. Marine
- Love my blue Mini Cooper S
- Like mid-century retro style
- Favorite color is orange
- Own two dice towers and a card holder
My wife actually enjoyed Talisman!!! (April '09).
Me (center) looking very tired on the last day of BGG.CON '06 learning to play Space Dealer.
Playing Shifting Sands on 5/27/2007.
I don't apply a strict formula to my game ratings. They are subjective rankings based on how I feel about them during a given point in time (therefore subject to revision). My Hot 10 list is based on games that I am thinking about, am currently playing, or are coming up in my "to play" pipeline.
