Rediscovered board games upon the birth of our first child. I realised videogames were just dead time solitary pursuits. Sure they have a role, and can be fun, but ultimately they just kill time.
Since coming back to the fold I have really enjoyed Dungeon Twister, Acquire, far too many Knizias - quick game of Pickomino anyone? - and latterly the quite marble-ous Antike.
I have dipped my toe into the industry with a small invention/product - Boxsolid, designed to keep box lids from splitting, and had a great time at Essen 2005 flogging the thing.
Love the Geek, but watch out for the silliness.
False game ratings? Really, what is the point? Shilling, with a commercial interest, I can understand although it cannot be condoned.
But game slaying? That just kills me. You can hang it up pal.
Have fun everyone.
