Here is my story...
It all started sometime ago, around the spring of 1990. It was a day like any other day...that is...until I found myself entertaining some unexpected and unfamiliar guests till my roommate returned home. In that awkward moment, I reached for a handful of dice to pass the time.
In a short period of time and with much nervous improvisation, a pirate themed dice game was beginning to take form, and then soon after, the basic structure for the game of Crossbones was coming to life.
The game of Crossbones began as nothing more than text on paper...and then gradually overtime, game board graphics were added, and then eventually a full blown game was under development.
Now, many years and many revisions later...many playtesters and their forgotten faces...through periods of pursuit and postponement...days and years gone by...I still find myself passionately committed to self-publishing the game of Crossbones. Some day...hopefully, the Kickstarter way!
In the meantime, I hope to meet and make new friends along the way...it has been one heck of a journey so far...one of passion, patience, and persistence...now, even after all the frustration and doubt that comes along with self-publication...I am still crazy enough...or I've gone completely mad...to keep pursing the publication of Crossbones...A pirate's life board game.
