After a major overhaul, my collection is getting very close to where I want it to be. I'm trying to limit myself to 90+ games (trading or selling the ones I don't [or no longer] like) due to limited shelf space.
Oooops... forgot my background summary. I guess I am now a wargamer more than I am a eurogamer. I've been playing board games basically my entire life, starting out with Snakes & Ladders, then moving on to party games, then discovering euros and falling in love with heavy economic games, then now focusing primarily on wargames. I tend to prefer card-driven wargames and/or block wargames over the traditional hex-and-counter wargames (not to say that I don't like playing hex-and-counter games, because I do [like playing 'em that is]). I love how wargames teach you something... be it history or a new tactics or even just a different perspective. It actually makes learning more fun. It also churns out a nice narrative almost every single time you play.
My top ten games are simply that... my top ten games. Yes, the order changes from time to time, but 90% of the titles there tend to stay there (and deservedly so). You might notice a '9' or even an occasional '8' sneak into my top ten... this is only because I get to play them more and not necessarily because I think they're the better game.
