Relatively new to the geek as a contributor. Lurked here for over a year. Became active December 02, 2007.
I was a HUGE D&D/AD&D fan back in the day (started playing when I was about 9 or 10, when I traded my entire GI Joe collection for several boxes of D&D source materials). (I also played a little Shadowrun and Twilight 2000). I went through several decent gaming groups as I moved, and then found a fantastic group of gaming friends in high school. When I moved away from them, I bounced around trying various groups in my new location, but discovered that my high school group was irreplaceable. My RPG days ended, and I sold off my entire RPG collection (several bookcases worth) on eBay. It's just the kind of defiant thing you do in your twenties. Can I remember now what I did with the money? Hell no. Do I wish I had all of those books back? Hell yes.
Anything in my Play List marked as Outside the Scope of BGG is most likely foosball. Love it. I occasionally play darts and shuffle puck (the big, at-your-local-bar kind), as well.
