I'm a 38-year old father of two living in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. I've been gaming, officially, for over 25 years, but I can recall my dad trying to teach me Risk as early as 6 or 7 (I did not fare well).
I play all kinds of tabletop games, but tend to gravitate towards pushing little metal soldiers around the table, WWII-themed games, CCG/LCGs, and (of course) any game that contains X-Wing or TIE Fighters.
I enjoy miniature wargames and have several Warhammer Fantasy and Kings of War armies, though what I lack is someone to play against. I spend a lot of time hobbying - assembling and painting models - but not a lot of time playing. So if I had a #1 on my wish list, it would be for a good Warhammer opponent.
Given that I have a relatively small gaming group, I tend to focus on 2-4 player games, and a lot of the historical wargames I play are strictly 2p.
I'm also drawn to games about or using animals as your heroes (far cry for WWII, isn't it?) like Mice and Mystics, Song of Splintered Lands, Harvesters RPG, Reaper's Mousling line of miniatures, etc. I'm always interested in finding more games along that same vein.
