I grew up playing the standard family fare, Monopoly, Scrabble, etc. In my teen years I learned how to play Bridge and Chess and dabbled in both over the years. It wasn't until 2010 that I discovered the wider world of board games and promptly fell in love. About the same time I also discovered Go, which utterly replaced Chess for me.
I enjoy Euro games, card games of the trick taking variety, abstracts and especially Go. Trade Requests
I am almost exclusively interested in multi-game trades
due to the high cost of shipping. I appreciate trade offers via geekmail so that we can work out the details prior to a formal trade offer.Recently PlayedWishlist

10: Awesome: Always want to play. It's *that* good.
9: Excellent: Always love playing, happily play every gaming session.
8: Great: Enjoyable game, happy to recommend for play.
7: Good: Good fun, willing to play if someone suggests.
6: Average: Some enjoyment may be found, but would look for an alternative.
5: Meh: Not really interested, unlikely to play again.
4-1: Bad: I'd rather do anything else than play this game.
I'll rate a game after a single play. That rating may change after more plays, but usually stays fairly close to my initial rating.Microbadges I've made:Trajan fanCastles of Burgundy fan Merkator Fan Le Havre FanDeus fanRialto fanBruges fanLords of Waterdeep fanBoîte à Jeux fanThreadjacker - I go off on tangents!Gaming
