As a child, my earliest gaming memories after Candyland include themed tie-ins like the 6-Million Dollar Man and Zaxxon. In my teens, wargames like Star Fleet Battles and Ambush! vied for tablet-time with RPGs like MERP and The Star Trek RPG.
Mayfair's crayon rails hit the table every Friday from the late-80s to mid-90s. We discovered Eurogaming in 2000 and found BGG in February 2005 while doing research for a game design (yep, me too).
My Top Ten list presents my "all-time favorites," but only loosely ranked. My Hot Ten list offers titles I'm presently discovering.
