Ahh-wooooooo Sad to be missing BGG 2015
I have been gaming since the early-mid 1970's with 2 friends whom I still game with monthly. We began with playing Avalon Hill War games. In the late 70's we all got married, but our wives did not like playing games with chits (too confusing). We then discovered a game called Settlers of Catan whcih changed our whole gaming outlook. Since then we have become big Euro-gamers.
My wife of 33 years, does not enjoy gaming as much as I do, but still plays certain games. This being said, she regularly destroys me in most games we play.
We now have 2 grown sons, who are now gamers also. Our eldest son and his wife join my 2 friends and their familys and my wife and I, for our monthly gaming day. When our youngest son, who lives in another city, comes to visit, I usually discover a game or two has disappeared from my collection. It is all good, as he is introducing his friends to the world of gaming.
