Hi to both my International and Aussie Santas. Thank you so much for the copies of Mysterium and Colt Express - very generous and both fantastic choices, as they were at the top of my wishlist. Very chuffed and can't wait to get them to the table.
Thank you both for your generosity and I hope you have a safe and happy Christmas and a prosperous New Year. We don’t stop playing because we grow old; we grow old because we stop playing.

My current avatar is a cartoon version of me!
I've made a few, because having just one is boring and it often pays to have some for "special occasions". If you can think of any more themes, please GM me with your ideas.
My ubergeek badge is the game I'm currently most obsessed with.
My previous avatar was Father Jack Hackett from the British TV show, Father Ted, which I still watch religiously (sorry about the pun).
As you can probably tell from my Avatars, I love purple. I wear a purple item every day and even my house is purple. It's the colour of Jacaranda blossoms.
My wonderful wife and I live in Sydney, Australia.
I used to be a gamer and an RPG'er back in the 80's, but work and family commitments changed all that until I discovered Euros (Carcasonne and Catan) in around 2006, and this rekindled the old passion. Not long after that I discovered BGG and realised how deep and wide the world of boardgames really is - simply wonderful!
Personally, I like games that are interactive, with a strong theme and play in under 90 mins. I particularly enjoy co-ops.
Somehow the obsession to play has also spawned the creative elements in me to develop my own games. So far I have 6 (in various stages of development). I'm enjoying the process immensely and hope to one day have them published.
My uberkeekbadge is the game I'm spending the most effort working on right now.
Recently I discovered microbadge creation
