Dear Secret Santa (BGG),
I've been pretty darn good this year. Lots going on with the job and my family, but all is good. My wishlist has a fair number of OOP games on it in case you can find these games secondhand somewhere, but I also have a good range of newer games there as well. Thanks and Merry Christmas!Dear Secret Cthanta (RPGG),
Greetings Great Old One! I will not bore you with my groveling, except to say that my wishlist has a large number of OOP games on it. You could quite possibly find these games at http://nobleknight.com. However, I do not wish to drive you insane with my list, so I have also included easier to find, newer items on the list as well. Thanks and Scary Christmas!
I've played board games all my life. My earliest memories are probably games like Candy Land
and Snakes and Ladders
. I soon progressed to Pay Day
. In 1983 I got into role-playing games (specifically Basic Dungeons & Dragons
) which broadened my board game horizons into games such as Necromancer
, Star Wars: Star Warriors
, Greyhawk: Wars
, and King of the Tabletop
I continued to play D&D (Advanced Dungeons & Dragons (2nd Edition)
) heavily into my university years when Magic: The Gathering
came out - Magic became my game of choice for the next five years or so. Around the same time, I tried Catan
for the first time (and definitely didn't enjoy it as much as my friends, but it made me realize there was more out there than the board games I used to play). Since then, I've played/owned an insane amount of CCGs and CMGs, and have slowly started building my collection of board games.
I created a CCG for the Friday the 13th film series that never really made it past the testing stage (I did submit an early prototype to Precendence Games before they went under). I'm currently brainstorming a boardgame to be set in an Ontario Provincial Park.

(Expert D&D) for my cousins in 1984:
I've played all versions of D&D (starting in 1983) and here is my order of most to least favourite:
D&D (Basic/Expert etc)
D&D 5E (this could rise higher)
D&D 4E (really didn't enjoy 4E very much) Countries visiting my profile:Canadians visiting my profile:Americans visiting my profile:
