I'm what you would might call a Renaissance Gamer, I'll play almost any type of game; be it Collectible, Miniture, Board, Card, Roleplaying, or Computer at least once. While I have my favorites (and I'll avoid dexterity games because I'm a klutz), I've dabbled in all manner of games during my life.
I love the Area Movement games of Avalon Hill (and now Multiman Publishing) and the Card Driven Games by GMT (and others) that maximize player interaction. The constant pressure to enact your plan, while simultaneously foil your opponents makes these games highly enjoyable and challenging in my opinion.
I enjoy Science Fiction games that have good mechanics AND good settings to frame the game, since I seem to find more time to read than playing the games (trouble with having to travel for work sometime).
