So sorry that you have been kidnapped. I understand that the Elves are *absolutely* not helping. I believe they are back at the workshop with Mrs. Claus, partying and eating all the cookies.
However, I wanted to let you know that your LOYAL helpers have delivered early Christmas gifts to the Turnitsa Household! Thanks for the games - they will definitely be played this year. We have been looking forward, for a long time, to trying Mad King Ludwig, and also the Alchemy and Chemistry games! Thanks, and good luck with your kidnappers. Perhaps it is time to call in some help from the Reindeer.
Been a gamer for many years (started with the light wargames from MB in the mid 70s).
I love miniatures, board games, card games (not the CCG variety), and even role playing. I don't get many gaming opportunities these days, so I tend more towards miniatures and board gaming.
After spending two years teaching at a university in Georgia, I have returned to Virginia (my home state for many, many years), and I am now working as University Research Faculty in the area of computer simulations.
We live in the Fredericksburg/Stafford area, and there are a lot of great gamers in the area, but we always enjoy meeting more. Send me a note if you live nearby and would like to get involved in some gaming!
Some local conventions I always attend -
Williamsburg Muster (Williamsburg VA, February)
Guns of August (Williamsburg VA, August)
Message me for information about either - both are focused on Miniatures gaming as well as Boardgaming. There is also some RPG and LARP activity...
