I aspire to be a contemplative, non-competetive gamer. Card games and middle-weight board games have the most appeal for me; I tend to enjoy simple yet novel mechanisms, and great production quality. My rating system--an 11 Point scale (0-10)--is broken down into three sub-categories: PRODUCTION QUALITY (0-3 points): (0) Production design interferes with play; home-made quality (1) Nothing special (2) Attractive, functional, durable (3) Near perfect EAGERNESS TO PLAY AGAIN (0-2 points): (0) Won't request; might play (1) Might request; will play (2) Will request ENJOYMENT (0-5 points): (0) Would rather have spent my time elsewise (1) Nothing special (2) Mildly fun, interesting, and engaging (3) Fun, interesting, and engaging (4) Very fun, interesting, and engaging (5) Amazingly fun, interesting, and engaging My Wishlist indicates degrees of wanting to try games I haven't played. (If I've played it, and know I want it, it's in my Want list.)
