I'm a long term gamer who was fortunate to have a twin brother.
Started off with the family games, Monopoly, ulcers, game of life, chess, draughts, backgammon and the like.
Took a strong shift towards fantasy upon discovering fighting fantasy gamebooks, and D&D, the latter which i dabbled with more than actually played.
Started Games workshopping from around 11, it was also about that time I picked up a copy of Civilisation, as it was the coolest looking game in beatties hobby store at the time.
Now play anything and everything, Like miniatures games, of any background or era (except napoleonic/horse & musket) play a wide mix of boardgames, and always picking up more than I should be. RPG from time to time but not so much as i used to.
My top 10 is based on games that have given me the most enjoyment and playtime, mixed with games I expect to provide long term enjoyment.
Hot 10 is what I would choose to play given the option of playing a game of my choice.
