Just an all-around-geek. Been playing games of one sort or another for as long as I can remember, starting with rainy day games with my brother, continuing through my high school RPG phase with the occasional wargame thrown in, a small pause for college and up to today with Eurogames and computer games (always nice when you can't find an opponent).
We caught the Eurogames bug pretty bad -- I like all sorts of them but lean towards the heavier ones that require many brain cells. (This does not mean that I'm good at them, however.) I also like the lighter ones for a change of pace. We prefer games that scale well for 2 players and up and also get together with friends as much as possible for some good gamin'.
Some of my current favorites: Zombicide, Ra, Agricola, Lords of Waterdeep, Pandemic: the Cure.
Some of my favorite co-op games: Zombicide, Arkham Horror, the D&D Adventure System games, Pandemic.
Some of my perennial favorites (the games I keep coming back to): Mah-Jongg, Saint Petersburg, Blokus, Through the Desert, Billabong.
Some of my favorite underrated games: Sherlock Holmes Consulting Detective, Bazaar, Ark of the Covenant (the best Carcassonne IMO), and Wise and Otherwise.
Some of my favorite two-player games: Mystery Rummy: Jack the Ripper, Phoenix, Battlelore, YINSH.
Some of my favorite thrift store finds: Survive!, Bazaar, Settlers of Catan, Acquire.
Some of my favorite games I wish I played more: Pillars of the Earth, Gates of Loyang, Vegas Showdown, Hammer of the Scots.
Some of my games I own but still need to play: Ambush!, Europe Engulfed, FITS, Mr. President.
I auction stuff on ebay as edosan007.
