You might guess based on my association with The Game Box that I believe in transparent, consistent moderation, which does not happen in the behind-the-curtain system here at BGG. Thus, as I believe in upholding my standards even if they exceed those of my peers, if I am banned from any BGG feature, I will say so here, and for how long, with a link to the event(s) in question. I encourage others to do the same.AM I BANNED RIGHT NOW:
Not as of my last login.
Based on previous experiences from prior users, such as Fortress: Ameritrash's Michael Barnes who complained that he was permanently banned from this website and unable to remove or access his own rightful contributions*, I therefore also post this warning: if I am ever denied access to my own account by BGG staff, indefinitely or permanently, then the person(s) so doing will also, to avoid the threat of litigation, remove all of my content and contributions (however few there may be). Using my content/contributions, to which I retain all copyrights and imply no other permissions, without granting me the authority to decide whether they stay or go and therefore remain a contributing factor to this website's traffic and/or revenue stream, will result in prosecution to the fullest extent of the law.

Yes, Octavian, this notice will stay up, thanks for asking! I learned a long time ago not to trust your word. Deal with it.
Pat Hirtle - I never knew you, but still I tip my hat to you. You weren't the first and you won't be the last, but I respect you nonetheless.
