As you can tell by my avatar. I'm not originally from this planet and was quickly losing hope for your race after many investigative visits, but then I came across these things that you refer to as board games. Soon, after many days of scouring through your information highway here on the internet. I came across this web site and spent many hours reading and researching, these so called board games. I became very intrigued by all the different varying natures of these games, the fun they offered and all of the friendly loving people here playing them. I quickly became addicted. So much so, that I made the decision to relocate to your planet, to try to collect and play as many of these games as possible and to befriend as many of these hoopy gamers to play the games with.
My first task was to find a good location to try and blend in. I've choosen New Jersey, for it's wide disparity of folk and numerous amount of people for such a tiny state. I figured this would be a good place to hide from the government and the military, as for trying to find me, would be like looking for a needle in a hay stack, as you humans would say.
After settling in. I started to collect many of these board games and continue to do so today. After many years of residing on your planet. I've come to find, that I really enjoy some of your older cartoons as well. There's nothing like playing a few good board games, with the friends I've made here, while watching these old cartoons. They really bring a sense of joy to my spirit. That's unless Nascar is on. Nascar takes precedence over all. Watching you crazy humans drive in circles, at 200 miles an hour and running each other off the track is just priceless. However ridiculous it may seem.
As for my future objectives. I plan to collect, as many of these board games as possible and to some day soon return to my planet, to share what I have learned with my colleagues. For as much as I have enjoyed my stay here and will be sad to leave. I feel that if a lot of things don't change within your society. That all of these things will soon come to an end and man-kind will suffer a huge consequence. I truely hope that you can find it in your hearts, to preserve such a beautiful planet and learn to co-exist more efficiently.
It has been a real pleasure to discover, that there are some really kind souls within your species and having the chance to befriend some of you. I thank you for the experiences you have given to me and the warmth you have kindly shared and am honored to call you my friends.
Once you have gained the knowledge to ascend. I will be there to greet you with a smile and a board game.
Hoopy gaming and peace to all,
P.S. - For those of you wondering what hoopy means. Well it's from an excellent book called, "White Plume Mountain", by Paul Kidd. The fairy character Escalla in the book, uses the word all the time, and well it kind of means, "Happy or something good" and has stuck with me ever since.
It's also used in "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy", and believe it actually originated from these books, but I first came across it in the book above.
So stay hoopy my friends and spread the love.
