Am I a man or am I a muppet? If I'm a muppet then I'm a very manly muppet!
Dear Santa Jake:
They arrived... and we had a lot of fun with The Agents! (Plato3000 will have to wait for the weekend.)
And my younger son LOVED the hats - you've made a friend for life.
Once again, thank you!
Dear Santa Jake:
Anything is appreciated - thank you
Dear Rip Van Santa:
I wondered if you'd developed narcolepsy - good to hear from you.
The new year has been good to us... though work is getting crazy. A new (to me) game is just the cure-all I need.
Dear Napping Santa:
I completely understand... and I'm looking forward to my head start on Xmas 2016.
Nap on, brother!
Dear Santa Dude:
Colt Express is a hit.
Secret Santa list entry is 1550.
You da man.
Dear Shreddin' Snowboarder Santa:
You rock. Colt Express + Pandemic + Descent expansions... my boys came in the door and said "Your Secret Santa knows you, Dad!"
I'll post on the Secret Santa list tomorrow - until then, a huge thank you and a Merry Christmas to you!
Dear Wordy Santa:
Yes, I read it all. Where are my extra cookies?
Dear Postal Santa:
Dear NYC Santa:
Thanks again for the very enjoyable emails... and we're always willing to try new games (even with irritating learning curves - heck, I'm a big fan of Race for the Galaxy.)
Evidently your nap is over. :-)
Dear Green Santa:
Making the reindeers recycle might also work.
Thanks again for the heads up - I'd recommend the Grishka series of YA novels... I'm on the third one right now and really am enjoying it.
Nap well, Kris Kringle!
Dear Slow Santa:
I was wondering about you - thanks for the heads up!
Yes, Eric got in touch with me... he's been a good friend over the years and your efforts are deeply appreciated on my behalf. I'm on the "to-be playtester" list.
Looking forward to your next communication!
Dear Santa Proxy:
Thanks for your Geekmail... while I appreciate the specific request, you can pretty much use these two rules to find something I/we will enjoy:
1) does it look like fun for two gamer boys?
2) the lower the number (closer to 1) on the wishlist, the more desirable
But seriously, anything is great - part of the fun of the exchange is the surprise and the friendship. Part of what makes this hobby great is WHO sits across the table as much as what game is on the table.
Dear Secret Santa 2015:
Thanks for being a part of this... you'll find my wishlist and games owned up to date.
There's a lot of expansions on there - the curse of being a collector/player of expandable games. There's also a mix of old & new.
My main "gaming buddies" are my 14 year old and 10 year old sons... which may explain some of the thematic choices.
I look forward to whatever shows up on my doorstep - this has been a highlight of the Christmas season each year!
