I am a very fickle gamer, as my trade rating indicates. However, I can sum my tastes as follows: I like games where I can either build things, explore places, or kill things. Thus, I am very drawn to the likes of Seafarers of Catan (the former two) and War of the Ring (the later).
Theme is very important to me, though the "Euro Game Revolution" has instilled in me a lack of patience for awkward and unnecessary rules. A game is more than a mechanic though, so I seek balance in my collection. My ever changing collection. Want to trade?
Lately I have not been playing many board games. I usually only get the opportunity a couple of times per year, when I do so with my long-time high school friends. As odd as it may sound, I prefer to play with people that I know very well.
My other hobby is retro-computing. I collect Atari, Commodore and Apple 8-bit computers mostly. I have several Atari 800s, 800XL, 130 XE, Commodore 64c, Apple IIe and an Amiga 2000. I prefer bare metal to emulation.
Personal Top 10 = Games that stand the test of time
Hot 10 = Currently on my radar/want to play
