(21/01/13) A bit of a gap since my last profile update but this means my games have grown into a very reasonable collection that takes pride of place on specially built shelving in my living room. I've now played a huge range of games (my BGG play record is far from accurate) from very in-depth euros, expansive conflict games requiring all day, party games for all the family and quick filler games at my local club while we wait for others to arrive. I have found that the games I seem best at are those requiring careful management of resources and planning ahead such as Agricola and Le Havre, but I still enjoy playing pretty much anything. The games I play most often are those my wife will play at home which includes Ascension, Roll Through The Ages, Guillotine, Braggart, Stone Age, Vikings, Quarriors and Kingsburg and hope that throughout 2013 I will be able to find more games we can enjoy together.
(29/12/10) What a difference 12 months can make. Over the past year the world of boardgames has truly opened up to me having played many of the top rated games along with lots of others and I've even got my better half playing. As you'll be able to see my collection has grown somewhat and hopefully will continue to do so. I've updated my played list to better show what I've been playing over the year although it's far from accurate. Hopefully 2011 will turn out to be another year of discovering and playing great games.
(29/12/09) I'm in my mid to late 20's and have been wargaming and board gaming for almost 20 years. Early on most of what I played was Games Workshop led (initially Hero Quest, Space Hulk & then 2nd Edition Warhammer 40K, since then have played almost every game they have released to date) but in the last 5 years my horizons have broadened and I now enjoy a wide variety of games, mostly played at my local club, Wigan Wargames. Although I have always been interested in board games and have been happy to play most things I only recently started a small collection for myself.
