Quite simply, gaming is my obsession. I've been gaming since very early in life and grew up in our hobby playing Avalon Hill, SPI & GameMaster titles. Since the mid-1990's, I've gravitated more towards the German style games, but do still play the occasional war game.
In early 1995, I founded the Westbank Gamers, which meets weekly at my home in the New Orleans area. We maintain a fairly popular website (
http://www.westbankgamers.com) and I try to stay active on as many internet gaming forums as possible.
In the summer of 2005, I moved to the hills of East Tennessee and helped found the East Tennessee Gamers (
www.easttennesseegamers.com), a group that is now thriving. We meet each week for gaming and socializing.
I am also a member of the International Gamers Awards committee, which seeks to award the most outstanding game of the year in several categories.
