Secret Soloist Response 4/2/2015
Hello Secret Gifter!
Thank you for letting me know you do exist! I kept saying you did, but my wife was telling me it was all in my head, but I knew if I just believed you would message me!
Lucky that your alma mater made it to the Final Four. Since we are having such a lovely conversation thus far, I won't ask you to divulge, and just assume that it was Wisconsin or Michigan State or Duke
(As a Jayhawk fan, I am still not quite over the drubbing Kentucky gave us earlier in the year)
As far as used OOP games, I am absolutely okay with that, as long as they came from a smoke free home. I have some health concerns, and if smoke is involved, then unfortunately I wouldn't be able to enjoy them.
I will also post this on my profile, and I hope to hear from you again!
Thanks, Secret Soloist!
Hello Secret Soloist!
My wishlist is up to date and commented upon. I will say that I used the number rating a little differently. It's a scale from 1-5, and 1 are games that I really, really want, and 5 are games that I am thinking about, but not sure if I will buy them myself.
I play co-op games solo all the time (playing anywhere from 1 to 5 characters) as well as really enjoying solo wargames. If it has a good theme, and isn't ridiculously heavy, then I'm open for trying it
I normally game with anywhere from 1-5 people. Even more so, 75% of the time it's usually just my wife and I. She enjoys lighter Euros like Stone Age, Carcassonne, Mice and Mystics, and Kingsburg. We really like co-op games, especially because I can play them solo. That is a really big deal to me; if a game is soloable, I am probably 10x more likely to play it.
Lately, I have been getting my RPG group into gaming; we RPG Pathfinder, DnD 3.5 and 5e, and Star Wars Edge of the Empire (which I DM), but we have also started to work in games like Lords of Waterdeep, Sentinels of the Multiverse, and Russian Railroads.
My wife tolerates my gaming, but it's only because I tolerate her baking (and I mean that as, she bakes as a hobby
We also have a Mini Schnauzer puppy named Apollo, after Lee Adama of Battlestar Galactica fame.
I play tenor saxophone, work as a Help Desk Team Lead for a major University, and love NCAA Basketball.
My top 10 are my favorite games of all time, and my Hot 10 are the current games in my collection I really, really want to play.
