I've been fascinated by games since childhood, although interest has waxed and waned over the years with the quality of games released.
My favourite genres are 18xx, Tactical Wargames, CDGs, lighter Eurogames, cards and Backgammon, but I'm usually prepared to play anything, once at least. I prefer strongly themed games, especially those whose mechanisms provide some parallel with reality, although strangely I enjoy pure abstracts as well. So, ask me whether I'd prefer to play Twilight Struggle or Le Havre and I'll take Twilight Struggle every time, even though deep down I realise that LH is the better game.

P.S. After receiving a number of e-mails, I have a strict 'no tolerance' policy towards speculative enquiries about the following:
Games for Sale: If I haven't put it in the Marketplace, then it isn't for sale.
Artwork: If it isn't in the public forums, then it isn't available.
Please do not e-mail me in breach of these guidelines. I will not reply.
