Growing up, my family always played non-electronic games - which, we believe, is why we're all so close. Playing these games fosters communication, which helps create unity. We believe this so strongly that we even opened up a game store (see: www.familygamestore.net
) to spread the joy. Ironically, now that the store's open, we don't have time to play with each other very much. Most of my game play is Role Playing Games, which I coordinate for the store, but this site is where I can glory in the board & card gaming I also enjoy.
I am also a mother (wife, daughter, sister, etc), and am trying to teach games to my daughter, who was born in 2006. Let us just say, our Uno games are ... unique ... and not worthy of being recorded on this site as actual plays.
I look forward to chatting with folks, but don't be put off if I take a while to respond... I don't always get a chance to read my email.
