Addicted to boardgames since 35+ years (started with my friends when I was 10 with games like "Broker", "Acquire", "Business", and "Oil, the Great Adventure"). In 1988 I was introduced in games like "Diplomacy" and "1830" via pbm and also learned to love wargames. After a long Eurogames phase I got bored by multiplayer solitaire feeling and missing conflict so I started to play wargames and traingames again.
My Top 10 is all about games I like very much for different reasons and expect that I occasionally will play them even in 20 years.
My Hot 10 is all about games I own and normaly suggest depending on which group of people I play with and how much time we have available.
Games played are entered the day I started playing that game (if played over different days). If playing via email (pbem) I enter the day the game ends.
When I use an expansion or additional scenario I log just the expansion. If there were multiple expansions used I log the main game (e.g. Carcasonne) or a published collection of expansions/scenarios (e.g. Memoir'44 Air Pack).
