Adventures at BGG.CON 2008!Adventures in Secret Santa 2008!I'm an East Texas native transplanted into North Texas within the last 10 years. My gaming roots are in TSR's Basic edition of Dungeons and Dragons and of course later Advanced Dungeons and Dragons and then 2nd edition Advanced Dungeons and Dragons.
I never was a huge boardgame fan, until I discovered BoardGameGeek, and a new love for playing with bits of cardboard, wood, and plastic was born. I'm really loving most of the Euro style games. I do still enjoy some of those old American Classics, though trivia type games are non fun, and those theme rich American games usually provide good entertainment. Wargames I have a real interest in and I like but I find I just don't have time or space for them. Party games are really hit or miss with me.
As of April 2008, I and my colleagues run the Greater Games Gathering (G3) convention in Plano, TX.
