I dig most cleverly designed euros, and a lot of FFG's catalog.
I run some fairly popular boardgame meetups every 2 weeks at Guardian Games here in Portland, Oregon, and LOVE doing it. I think I have just as much fun teaching new gamers short, lighter fare, as I do getting together with my hardcore gaming friends to play Age of Steam, A Game of Thrones, or even more epic stuph like Twilight Imperium 3 or Through the Ages.
I started running the meetups at Guardian mostly as a way to get to meet some new people to play games with, and now I'm completely surrounded at almost all times by an abundance of awesome gaming friends!
It worked almost TOO well... :-p
