I first came across two wargames back in 1983 & 1984, first it was African Campaign & then Rise & Decline of The Third Reich. But I simply could not find a partner in crime to play these games & teach me the skills of this tradee So I left them on the shelf.
It was only in 1989 at the age of 17, that I met a well experienced wargamer who properly showed me how to play all those all time classic World War Two Games & showed my the ropes to master the games of Russian Campaign, Battle of The Bulge, Fortress Europa, African Campagin, Axis & Allies & the rest is history.
I'm still a big fan of some selected games from Avalon Hill, Jedko, GMT & GDW. But now I'm very much too focused on games made & designed from Canada's L2Designgroup & Holland's Phalanx Games. I like meeting people who are big time specialists on the Eastern Front, Western Front & some elements of the American Civil War & Napoleonic Wars. Despite the coming of the download & digital age, I still love playing those old time strategic games on a face to face basis. Plus i like discussing & share thoughts & learning more about other people's opion on historic wargames. Feel free to get in touch with me. I like meeting strategic gamers from this from Australia, Germany, United Kingdom, New Zealand, United States, Canada & elsewhere around the world. Feel free to drop me a line.
