All clear, secret santa! Thanks for being patient - don't worry if whatever you send arrives in the new year. Apologies in advance for making you wade through the stream of OOP games on my Wishlist to find something plausible.
Perhaps take a look athttp://shop.goodgames.com.au
Infinity games in Adelaide
(so not so much time available for the 'geek at the moment)
If you send me a trade offer for one of my listed games and you don't get a response, please don't think I'm ignoring you. I'm probably just really busy and can't get on the geek as much as I'd like
South Australian designer geek & bass player. Married to the lovely mrs_lunch (who plays games with me probably more often than she'd like); father to two beautiful (I might be biased, but I don't think so) little girls.
Look for the fedora hat
, espresso coffee
or classic Vespa scooter
. That'll be me.
I'm a sucker for rich themes, modular boards, story telling mechanisms, deductive reasoning and dice. That's not to say that I dislike Euro-style strategy (quite the opposite), more that I prefer the escapism. Gamebooks, too. I like them.
I have too many games on my Wishlist
and I'm dreadful at remembering to log my games played.
I'm still looking for the boardgame equivalent of the Myst
or Monkey Island
series... The official Myst
game just doesn't appeal. What were they thinking?[rant]
It's 'Lego', people! Not 'legos'!
1. Google it.
2. Click on a 'Cached' link and look for the text "These terms only appear in links pointing to this page: legos".
3. Update your vocabulary.
