Hi there! I'm the regular host and co-founding member of my local group, the Westside Spielers ( http://www.boardgamegeek.com/guild/77). Yes, I know "Spielers" is not proper German. But we're not German, so . Besides, it would cost too much to get new hats.

I play purple. And it's my house, so I pretty much get my way. The Coke is in the fridge, the glasses are in the cupboard, and whatever you do, DON'T LOCK THE BATHROOM or we'll have to get up there with a screwdriver. Oh yeah, one final group rule - GET ERNIE.

I tend to like slightly lighter games than the average group member, but I do love the occasional 18xx or Die Macher on a weekend. No war games, please.

I like to GeekMod and submit a photo here and there. Don't be expecting any reviews or session reports - I'm not that analytical [HERESY! Burn her, burn her!], I just like to have fun.

To create my avatar I did a photo shoot of the polymer clay Jack figure I made a couple years ago and then messed with the photo. Weirdly, the effect I used turned it purple without even trying. Yay!
