I must be old, this is my first of many, Avalon Hill games. I remember buying game late Friday night, down town Kitimat B C Canada. We got started early Sat afternoon and stopped late for dinner. Up at it Sunday early noon and late afternoon we had not completed the game, but a winner was becoming evident, team Red. We were not prepared for a game that would take many hours to learn, and two days to play. We never knew games like this even existed. The only other game played on the block was Monopoly. Though it got the neighborhood kids out together for games, it was real lame
after a while, sure was glad when some one got Cootie
and The Game of Life
. The neighborhood did come to see our Blitzkrieg game, but it seemed to scare the girls away. Boy were we on the wrong track in the 60's, we were still making war when the rest were making love.
Thank you Rod Hockey
when the first one on the block came out, mine came next.
I bring Luck Laughter and Life to the table. Found BGG site back when it started, but due to a break up, my games collection was decimated only a hand full of games survived. Gaming/BGG went on the back burner till mid/late 07/08. Lost what name i signed in as back then, just glad to be back here on BGG and into gaming again. Restored much of my collection now with a regular gaming group that plays once a week.
I always wanted to be a toy repair specialist, though good at repairing toys, now i am improving, and pimping out games. Always welcome visitors and local gamer's to our mid week games night. PLEASE HELP ME REPLACE Lovers Wild
Thank you Brian Train for replacing this game for me. Looking for mint copy now.
