visit my website at http://scottobear.com or my journal at http://scottobear.livejournal.com to know more about my day to day.

AKA Scott von Berg - aka Scottobear, Sasquatch, Rev. Scotto, and Mongo... among other things.

Born Feb 2, 1969, 6'5ish", brown hair, blue eyes. If you've seen this man feel free to approach, as he's generally unarmed, and rarely dangerous. Doesn't eat animals, and votes regularly. No tattoos, piercings, or any other form of ritual scarification, identifying marks are a 5 inch scar at the base of the back from two spinal operations; on in 1994, and another in 2003. Likes to Read, Camp, and talk forever about any manner of topics. Social activities include gaming (Cards, RPGs, Boardgames, you name it.), trips to the coffeeshop, any sort of Film, and trips to the beach for a nighttime cookout / drum circle / gab-fest.

I have two eyes, two ears, two arms and two legs and at least once a day I like to stuff dead plants into a hole in my head. I enjoy the presence of children, (any happy folk, actually), nice scenery, especially rivers and hills. I adopted a cat, Newton, at estimated age at 3 weeks, orange tabby, male, on October 25, 1999, and I can't imagine how I got along without him. Newt's been a wonderful addition to my family and household. Since then (Also on October 25 - this time 2006) I've married the love of my life Allison - as a happy side result also adopted another cat, this time a longer-haired black one by the name of Pyewacket. My family is truly amazing, and I love them all more every day.

How flattering that you came by! Thanks for taking a moment of your time to peek into my life There'll be more about me in the here and now in the journal section. Below sums up my basic feelings.

A quote from Bill Hicks. A smart, funny, dead man.

You've been fantastic and I hope you enjoyed it. There is a point, is there a point to all of this? Let's find a point. Is there a point to my act? I would say there is.

I have to.

The world is like a ride in an amusement park. And when you choose to go on it, you think it's real because that's how powerful our minds are. And the ride goes up and down and round and round. It has thrills and chills and it's very brightly colored and it's very loud and it's fun, for a while. Some people have been on the ride for a long time and they begin to question, is this real, or is this just a ride? And other people have remembered, and they come back to us, they say, "hey - don't worry, don't be afraid, ever, because, this is just a ride..."

And we... kill those people.

Ha ha

"Shut him up."

"We have a lot invested in this ride. Shut him up. Look at my furrows of worry. Look at my big bank account and my family. This just has to be real."

Just a ride. But we always kill those good guys who try and tell us that, you ever notice that? And let the demons run amok. But it doesn't matter because: It's just a ride. And we can change it anytime we want. It's only a choice. No effort, no work, no job, no savings and money. A choice, right now, between fear and love. The eyes of fear want you to put bigger locks on your doors, buy guns, close yourself off. The eyes of love, instead, see all of us as one. Here's what we can do to change the world, right now, to a better ride. Take all that money that we spend on weapons and defences each year and instead spend it feeding and clothing and educating the poor of the world, which it would many times over, not one human being excluded, and we could explore space, together, both inner and outer, forever, in peace.

Thank you very much, you've been great.
