I've always been interested in board and video games since a very young age. In the last two years, I've been playing less video games and more board, card, and miniature games. My fiance and I play Guitar Hero, to unwind, but it's not very often. She and I generally play Dominion or other card based games to pass the time. Her son and I play all sorts of Euro and Ameritrash games that we can sometimes ring her into playing. Otherwise, I play boardgames with a large local group or online via board game hubs that let me play games that I don't otherwise get to play often enough.
Though games are a big hobby of mine, I enjoy spending time with friends and family pursuing other interests. I don't get to the gym as much as I would like to, these days, but as as former trainer I love to challenge myself physically. My fiance is my best friend and we always manage to have a great time, even if it's just shopping for groceries or poking around a discount store.
I love to go new places and see new things. My travel has been limited, as of late, due to funds, but I love a day trip to Boston where there always seems to be something new to discover or enjoy.
Game conventions are something that I am trying to get to, more often, now that I have moved closer to where so many are happening. In a shorter time than it used to take me to go see a concert, when I lived in Maine, I can now experience so much.
I am happy.
