In case you don't recognize my current avatar, it is adapted from the the wrapper for the Japanese 7" single of "Mr. Blue Sky" by the band the Electric Light Orchestra. One of the best songs ever recorded.
I was proud to be named RPG Geek of the Week #94
I started recording board game plays on December 8, 2010, and then stopped around April 2012. I've estimated plays since then and have started tracking again on October 3, 2014.
My lifetime h-index for RPGs is ~15 (e.g. I have played at least 15 games at least 15 times). For Board/Card games, it is ~10 (since 2011).
For RPG's, I've estimated my lifetime plays for every game I have ever played.
Board Game Hot 10 are the 10 games I most want to get to the table right now that I COULD get to the table (e.g. I own or I know someone who owns).
Board Game Top 10 are in alphabetical, not rank, order.
RPG Hot 10 are 10 games I would really like to play, tonight, roughly in the order of desire.
RPG Top 10 are not necessarily the 10 best games I have played. It's more the list of the 10 games I have the most enjoyment from in my life. It's about both quantity, quantity, and nostalgia.
My video game ratings are based on how much fun I had playing it the moment I played it. So an older game that I would have loved if I played it at the time often may have a low rating because at the time I played it it just couldn't compete with the opposition.
