: Allied HeroQuest (www.toco.be/ahq)"One of the best alternative/combined/house/rules (I don't know how to name it!) I see on the web! Really cool!""THANK YOU! With Allied Heroquest you have created what I was searching for the last 6 years... the perfect dungeoncrawler! I'm so glad I came across your rules for AHQ! I finally played it and I was simply blown away! Great job! I can't wait to play the next games. I still can't believe what kind of treasure I found with it.
"I would just like to say without Allied Heroquest I would still be searching for the perfect Dungeon Crawl. And because of all your hard work I think I have found it.
""Yes yes yes.... very nice.... Sometimes it's easier not to reinvent the wheel." Splut!Illustrations
:My Player-MottoI will not consistently take longer to decide my move than everyone else at the table. It is better to make a suboptimal move and consider it a lesson learned than to hold everyone up. It is okay if occasionally I need a minute to think when I hit a really interesting puzzle. But that's the exception, happening maybe a couple times per game, not the norm.My Player-Belief
I tend to lose a lot playing games. Others might say I play reckless. In my defense I'd like to quote Escher: "Only those who attempt the absurd will achieve the impossible.
". It could be combined with Ovidius: "Luck affects everything; let your hook always be cast; in the stream where you least expect it, there will be a fish
".My Player-StyleIf I can't win, I try not to lose.
And very important, I would never cheat in a game because that would kill the whole point of playing. My Top 15
