I play on an almost daily basis with my wife and a small group of friends, but keeping all the plays recorded here on the geek tends to be a lot to remember, so I end up recording plays sporadically. I've basically given up at this point. I suppose I'd rather be playing than recording
And yes! I love expansions. I'm very much drawn to games that expand because expansions extend my interest in a game for months or even years. Static games tend to get old and traded away much more quickly.
As a general rule, I prefer games that can be played with only 2 players because my wife is my most reliable gaming partner. That said, though, Cosmic Encounter is currently our favorite game whenever we can get folks together to play it. We try to keep games on hand to cover every possible occasion and combination of players
We'll have the whole extended family together this year for Christmas in Nashville, which amounts to 11 adults and 5 kids (nieces and nephews, none of my own). I aim to see Cosmic Encounter hit the table several times amid all the chaos. Can't wait!
