Thanks for the review! I had pre-ordered a copy from Funagain so hopefully will get it in a few weeks whenever their Essen shipment shows up. Glad to hear I made the right choice!

Thanks for the review. The game seems interesting but is it really worth the expense(probably in the $100 range) to order it directly from the publisher and shipped to the U.S. from Europe?
I own the original Dragon Rage from Dwarfstar Games circa 1982, and have had my eye on this reprint for a while. I was hesitant, after owning the original, how worth it would be to pick this up. This video assured me that this is a game I MUST own! Of course this isn't the first of your videos to convince me of a future purchase. Thanks again, Marco!
Great review as always. I'm always impressed with how unbiased you can be while explaining the game, saving your personal opinions for the end of the video.
The only problem is that the game is so expensive, because now I really want it too!
I only feel guilty for my large collection of DC comics, that I can never fit in the frame because they are on the top and bottom shelves of the bookcase!

It did, yes. In fact it's pretty much exactly the same game, with better components. Which is why I cannot justify paying this much for a component upgrade...
The rules are pretty much identical too, and available to download. Which makes the box art impossible - in this game, Dragons can't breathe fire & fly at the same time.

I beg to differ: rule 2.12.1.5.2, a flying dragon breathing fire on a tower will always destroy it. I believe that's what the illustration represents. I think the idea it's that they can use dragonfire while flying, but targets on the ground are too far.
I originally bought that excuse, but it's a rule utterly against every depiction of flight capable firebreathing dragons I've ever seen. It's not like dragons were something original created for the game.
