Nederlandse Spellenprijs - The Netherlands - gaming industry award since 2001

The Nederlandse Spellenprijs is the Dutch game of the year award. The nominations are done by a jury of journalists and game reviewers and they are announced in August. Each gamer can vote in September for their 3 favorite games; giving them 4-2-1 points. The award winner is announced just before the SpellenSpektakel fair, where the award is presented. To be eligible, games have to be published in Dutch between June 1st and May 31st.
